E3 Expo 2013-Expected Announcements and presentations

Time just zips past you, doesn't it? Its been a whole year since the E3 expo 2012 and its feels like just yesterday I wrote about it. though the last year's Expo was a bit, well, not up to the expectations to put it in simpler terms, this year's expo which will be held from June 11-13 promises to be a paradise for Gaming Community. New consoles, new titles, Devices that promise to reform gaming are all expected to put up a show at the expo. So, Just keep on reading and I'll provide you with all the details.
Xbox One: If you haven't been living under a rock, you would already be knowing that Microsoft revealed the Xbox One on May 21. We know what the console is capable of and all gamers want right now is seeing the console in action. Few demos of game-play on Xbox One is on the cards. Also, we might get news regarding a few more titles that would be available for the Xbox One. Microsoft has also announced a press briefing on June 10, one day before the expo gets underway. It can be nothing but a Xbox One-related briefing in which Microsoft might give details about what it would be displaying in the expo. Keep Fingers crossed.

Sony PS4: Xbox One biggest competition, Sony's PlayStation 4 might also be revealed at the Expo. Now, you should also know that Sony held an event back in February in which it displayed the DualShock 4 Controller for the upcoming PS4 but there was not even a glimpse of the console itself. PS4 is set to be released this holiday season and there would be no better stage to display the console than E3 Expo by then. Also, Sony cannot afford Microsoft steal all the limelight with Xbox One. PlayStation fans would love to see the PS4 (Ok no denying, every technology enthusiast would). Fingers crossed once again.

What about the Ouya Gaming console? Ok I admit, reading Ouya is quite weird when talking about the name of a gaming console. But make no mistakes, this small wonder can very well revolutionize gaming. Its affordable, damn affordable at just $99.99/£99.99 depending on whether you are in US or UK. The console is set to launch on June 4th, that's tomorrow. We would expect developers behind Ouya to give us more details regarding the catalog of game titles which would be available and plans regarding launch of consoles in countries other than US, UK and Canada.

What about new titles in long running franchises? Long running titles such as Call Of Duty, Assassins Creed, Battlefield, etc are all due for their annual addition. So you can expect to see first views of Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 (Also known as Call of Duty: Ghosts whose trailer was seen in Xbox One launch event) and Assassins creed 4: Black flag. There are very few chances of seeing Grand Theft Auto V at the expo but you never know.

Valve Steam Box: There's a lot of confusion regarding this device. The only thing that is known for certain about it is that it would be a Linux-based device specifically designed to play steam games. And that's it. But, if it is actually a console, how does it look like? what about the controller? Its pricing? Well, valve you would be doing good to answer a few questions and let us see how Steam Box looks and what all it does.

Unreal Engine 4: Ever since the beginning of gaming, advances in technology have tried to blur the line between Fantasy and reality. But can it actually be done? How well can it be done is the actual question. The Unreal Engine 4 is the next level of gaming engines. A real-time demo of Unreal Engine 4 was shown in PS4 event in February. It was jaw-dropping, eye popping and left gamers dream about next-level gaming for days to follow. At E3 expo, we might learn more about Unreal Engine 4 and its implementations in consoles and PC systems in the nearby future.

So as you can see, E3 Expo 2013 looks promising. I would be briefing you about all the highlights of the event by an upcoming post after the expo. Be sure to check that out. You may comment below to share your excitement and expectation about the E3 expo 2013.
